Does an unexpected pregnancy have you worried about your future?

Very few students enter college expecting to get pregnant. However, that obviously does not prevent unexepected pregnancies from happening. And when they do, it can be difficult to know what to do next and what this means for your future.

Needless to say, an unexpected pregnancy brings with it numerous questions, some of which have no easy answer. However, it is important that you explore these questions and reach those answers as you attempt to balance this unexpected event with your school work. At Women's Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada, we can help students along in that process by providing you with options and support to help guide you through this life-changing experience.

KNOW YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS!

Your school MUST provide you with reasonable accommodations to continue your education and ensure that your pregnancy will not hinder your educational goals. Title IX protects you from pregnancy and parental status discrimination at school. Your pregnancy is NOT an obstacle for furthering your education and career objectives and ambitions.

Patient Reviews

Real reviews from actual patients

When I first came, I really did not know what to expect, especially coming in at 17 to take a pregnancy test. I was not sure on what to do. It came back positive. I got the opportunity to speak with a counselor who was very helpful with my decision. The help that is received at the Women’s Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada is extraordinary to a single mother. I would like to thank each and everyone that took the time to help all these women.

I was surprised at the Center. The staff was warm, inviting and they took their time counseling me. Even though I have run into obstacles, I know I have friends.
